The titles connote the inter-relationship. Some entries are ideas, some are how to's or places to find more. Most ideas are examined on more than one blog with a complementary approach.

Fabulous advancements are occurring now, in the near future and in the next 20 years.  If a small percentage of the coming ideas occur there will be enough commercial opportunities for the US, Canada and Mexico.  This Blog comments on major opportunities and asks the question … How are we going to participate?  There are major issues and negative headlines that need to be and can be solved; defining the future of the American workforce, infrastructure needs, competitiveness and world competition.  What is the role of Government versus Private Investment?

"POSSIBLENESS" focuses on both the BIG IDEAS that will be practical in 2020 (only 9 years away!) and those being deployed now and in the next 2 years.  There is a clear opportunity for America to be a vital part of this.  Together, we have to figure out how to ensure it happens.

I propose there is both technology and strategy.  While most of the blogs in this section are technology biased, it is time to consider policy.

The Cuban medical system may be better than the American medical system.  Of course we may have technology on our side, but is it the answer?

Cuba has demonstrated some remarkable skills to achieve these results:

  • Focused on prevention.
  • Oriented to general practice vs. specialization.
  • Been willing to review and change  practices
  • Cuban medical school is free and doctors serve regionally as directed by the government.
  • Cuban medical school is free for students throughout the world and has graduates in 130 countries.  This is a source of great soft diplomacy.
